Church Mission Statement
The mission of the Irving Seventh-day Adventist Church is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the light of the three angel's messages of Revelation 14 beginning in Irving and reaching out as the Lord leads to other places near and far through outreach programs such as health seminars, worship services, Bible schools, evangelistic meetings, vacation Bible schools and any other method that is feasible and effective, and to provide a nurturing atmosphere for the believers.
Potluck fellowship
We like to eat.We especially like to eat good food. But we really really like to eat good food with each other.
Potluck fellowship lunches are held each week immediately following the church service on Sabbath. The food is provided by the members and we have some great cooks. Everyone is invited to stay and eat - members and guests.
All the food is vegetarian and healthfully prepared. There is typically a very wide variety. No one goes away hungry.
